Andrea Kress is a physical anthropologist trained at Syracuse University and Duke University who most recently retired from a long career as a public administrator with the City of Tucson to return to writing full time.She has published scores of articles under the name Andrea Ibanez about travel, culture, history, and the Southwest in the Tucson Weekly, Valley Guide Quarterly, Tucson Guide Quarterly and The New York Times. She was the author of the chapters on Tucson and Southern Arizona in Fodor’s Arizona guide and Fodor’s USA guide.The four-book DEADLY mystery series DEADLY WOODS, DEADLY DUNES, DEADLY MOUNTAINS and DEADLY DIG are available on Amazon in ebook and paperback format.The new BERKSHIRES COZY Series debuted in 2021 with Aggie Burnside, a young nurse and amateur sleuth trying to figure out who done it in 1930s Massachusetts.
