Borut Lesjak is a poet, author and translator from Slovenia. Before he dusted off his secret sage boots and donned the spiritual hood of a teacher and healer, he studied at the University of Ljubljana and worked as a professional in computer programming. His work includes adult memoir and speculative fiction novels, YA and MG fantasy, children’s picture and board books, lyric poetry, and self-help. He’s a husband and father and is fascinated by dreams, time, math, awareness, art, rocks, the sentience of nature and the intelligent cosmos, exotic travels, road-trips and camping, hiking in the Julian Alps, and watching his three kids grow up climbing apple trees and casting good spells into seven directions. His commitment to humanity’s collective healing as a species is woven as a bright thread through the tapestry of his work. He loves to play ancient alchemist by offering readers word potions to transport them to visionary destinations and paint possibilities of harmony in personal and planetary spheres.
