Cynthia Sally was born and reared in Surrey England.

Too long ago she surfaced in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, winding her way through four careers: violinist, cognitive scientist, medical writer, and novelist.

Cynthia Sally graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University, Cambridge MA in 2015.
