Emily Lavin Leverett is a writer, editor, and professor. She writes the contemporary fantasy the Eisteddfod Chronicles with Sarah Joy Adams. The Wolf and the Nun, a paranormal historical romance about the twelfth century poet and abbess Marie de France, debuted with the Wolf in the Cloister and the Enchanted Rose in 2020. The Lai of the Black Wolf and an Honorable Love follow in 2021. Her scholarship on Terry Pratchett’s Discworld includes the co-edited essay collection Terry Pratchett’s Ethical Worlds. She lives in North Carolina where she, her spouse, and their three cats are avid Carolina Hurricanes fans.
