She grew up on the banks of Brandywine creek, in Southwestern Michigan. With a love for nature, history, and books, she started her first novel in her teens.

After decades of music ministry, and being a homeschooling mom, she finally pursued her writing.

She loves dramatic tales that tell the history of the U.S.A and beyond. She strives to make every book connected with stories from our past, so we can learn from those who have gone before us.
