Miranda started out life wanting to be a film director, but when directing people didn’t work, she turned to writing and directing words instead. She finds them much easier to deal with – most days.

Miranda writes under two pen names:

As Miranda Kate, she has been featured in several Flash Fiction anthologies, and has published several books in Horror, Sci-Fi Fantasy and Dark Paranormal Fantasy genres.

As M K Boers she writes psychological thrillers and domestic noir novels.

Miranda spent her early childhood in Surrey, in the south of England, and her teens and early adulthood moving round the UK, but currently resides in the Netherlands.
