Nicholas Bruner

An up-and-coming author of YA and fantasy

Nicholas Bruner works for a government contractor in the Washington, DC, area. He has also worked as a carnie at Opryland, a summer camp counselor in Hungary, a construction worker in Germany, a swimming pool installer, an assistant for an explosives crew, and a pizza deliverer. (All true.)

Nick has been writing books since the age of eight, and was proud to finish his first novel in 2010. Unfortunately, it was terrible. His books since then have been better.

Nick lives in Fairfax, Virginia, with his librarian wife, Lee, fourteen-year old son, ten-year old daughter, and a crotchety old cat. He enjoys running, weightlifting, languages, chess, playing the bass guitar badly, and zymurgy. He spends any proceeds from his novels on vintage comic books and jazz albums if he’s able to get hold of the money before his wife can intercept it and put it in the kids’ college funds.
