Violet Malvik

Ancient Historial Romance

The author, philosopher, and Episcopal priest Geddes MacGregor once said, “No one in Scotland can escape from the past. It is everywhere, haunting like a ghost.” That informs most of the historical romance novels of Violet Malvik, who has a wavering, spiritual connection with the island, its history, and the romanticism era that occurred between the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. During her tenure as a high school English teacher, Violet took many summer vacations in Scotland and gradually fell in love with the sights and people. She always promised herself to become a full-time writer, when she found something inspirational, and she kept her promise. If she’s not behind her desk, typing away, Violet, a mother of three and a soon-to-be grandmother, is volunteering with her husband of 52 years, Gerald, a retired civil defense lawyer, at the local church or organizing a flea market or two. She lives in Great Neck, New York, and owns a Welsh Corgi named Sara. You can follow me at all the places…Super-cute NON SPAMMY newsletter: https://bit.ly/3DcbwiCAuthor page: https://www.facebook.com/Violet-Malvik-104802208601567Reader group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1619116474957602Email: [email protected]
