The Lady and Other Stories

Vampires, Body Snatchers, and Earthlings Among the Stars ... three speculative fiction short stories

An exclusive collection of three short stories:  “The Lady,” “Only the Young Die Good,” and “The Last Two People on Earth.”

“The Lady” is a dark vampire tale—the beautiful Relia marries for immortality and finds a bargain with a monster is hard to endure, and impossible to break. She promised “til death did them part,” but will it be hers, or his?

“Only the Young Die Good” is urband fantasy and follows Tanya as she introduces her neice Juliet to the body transporting business—making sure a body gets to the creamatorium before body snatchers can take it. The road is always dangerous, but even more so when she can’t trust the other person in the hearse.

“The Last Two People on Earth,” is a light science fiction. In the future humanity has conquered the stars, but they still call the Earth home. Elderly Imogen has the last spot on the planet and a man who wants to buy it. Spending time with him, and growing to like him, might be a mistake, but sometimes mistakes lead to the best adventures in life.
