Meteor Attack!

"I grew up reading Sci Fi.. Authors like Andre Norton, Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, etc....And Meteor Attack! reminds me very much of that style of Science Fiction. I read a lot of Science Fiction serials when I was a kid and I've missed them. That anticipation as you wait for another to come out. That excitement when you get it and the impatience as you wait for the next episode. These satisfy that need also. I was given the opportunity to read Neutrinoman and Lightningirl: A Love Story, Episode 1 by the author Robert McCarter quite a while ago and I did and loved it. I passed it on to my husband and he loved it too. So, I was embarrassed to discover that I apparently thought about reviewing it, but never got it done :( Well, I'll remedy that now. I won't give you a blow by blow of the plot, you can read the synopsis and get that. But I will tell you that it's a very satisfying read in both the technical/science fiction aspects and the human aspects. It doesn't matter how good the story is, if I can't get involved with the characters I won't read it. One of the things Mr. McCarter does VERY well, is make me care about the people in his stories. I truly like Nik Nichols and I care about what happens to him. I'll be following Nik and waiting to read more about him and Licia as the serial develops :)"
