Play It Again

Sparks fly when an ex-rock and roll junkie and a stuffy accountant rendezvous at a local resort, but neither expect the emotional entanglement or the danger from the past that arises.

Sparks fly when an ex-rock and roll junkie and a stuffy accountant rendezvous at a local resort. Russ Graham is a man in control – of himself and everyone else around him. Deanie Burton is the free spirited daughter of a jazz musician. After a one night stand, they go their separate ways. Yet, it seems God has other plans.

Life gets complicated when Deanie discovers she is pregnant, but Russ’s bitterness from a previous marriage keeps him from accepting her for who she is. His relationship with his eleven year old son begins to suffer as he struggles to maintain control of his life and those of his extended family. Then a flame from the past escapes from prison, out to take revenge on Deanie, Russ and anyone else who might get in his way.

The story is presented in four ‘Movements’ loosely following the form of a symphony.  God can take the discordance of life’s disasters and turn it into beautiful music.
