Amy Martinsen received a bachelor of arts in English education from Arizona State University, and a master of arts in English from Northern Arizona University. She wrote Hints for Latter-day Saints’ Golden Years (2019) and Marriage Hints for LDS Newlyweds (2018). She also wrote the novels Changing Worlds (2015), The Secret Obituary Writer (2016), nominated for a 2016 Whitney Award and The Secret Obituary Writer: Book Two (2019). In 2017, a popular blogger selected Amy as one of the Top Ten LDS Author’s You Need to Read. In addition, she is the author of the short story “Lilly’s Photograph” (Moose Enterprise, 2002) and “The Tower of Babel and the Teaching of Grammar: Writing Instruction for a New Century,” published in the September 2000 English Journal.
