Books with heart and humor

Andrea is a writer, fiction editor, and professional introvert. She balances all this with the help of chocolate, peanut butter straight out of the jar, and plenty of irony. Not to be mistaken for ironing. She doesn’t do any of that.

A long time ago, she grew up in Southern California but now call Tulsa, Oklahoma home, where she lives with her partner and a million houseplants. Favorite pastimes include starting knitting projects, making vegetable soup, and lamenting the existential qualities of housework.

Other items of interest (in handy bullet-point summation)
-May have an unusually large yarn stash
-Blank journal addict (who can stop at just one?)
-Loved to play with receipt books as a child (duplicate good, triplicate EXCELLENT)
-Working on Adidas sneaker collection
-Everyone thinks she is super relaxed BUT SHE IS NOT

The Beverley Green Adventures series might be best described as “GenX Chick Cozy Lit Comedy Adventure.” But until they create a category for that, just know these books are filled with laughter, lightheartedness, and yes, plenty of irony. The books follow late-bloomer Beverley as she navigates new territories in her mid-40s: a new town, a new career and a newfound appreciation of nice guys.

Fun fact: Andrea is the niece of Eleanor and Francis Coppola and she’s especially thankful for their inspiration and encouragement. But please don’t tell them she’s never seen The Godfather.
