C. F. E. Black learned her love of literature from two professor parents and a handful of excellent English teachers. She now pours that love back into the lives of young people through teaching high school and writing books for teens. If she’s not writing or teaching, she’s chasing her toddler, running for fun, or sneaking handfuls of dark chocolate. She lives in north Alabama with her husband, son, snuggly hound dog, and decidedly un-snuggly cat.
