D. L. Akosua is the author of the debut novel Hushed Invaders. Born in Ghana and raised in London, she considered the possibility of becoming a writer along with thousands of other jobs as a child.A mother by day, novelist by night, she graduated from law school in another lifetime. Her characters are courageous and fearless but in real life, she is afraid of snakes, heights and dark places.When not writing, she can be found baking with her daughter, walking or travelling.
