Cherry Girl

A Blackstone Affair Novel

Elaina Morrison has loved Neil McManus her whole life. She doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t love him. Through heartbreaking tragedy and years of separation, her love holds true…until life stomps all over her heart, shattering her perfect dream, teaching her how hard it is to let go.Real-life doesn’t have anything on romantic dreams though, as these two have learned over and over again. It sucks big time, leaving painful scars in its wake. But Neil isn’t giving up. He’s a soldier who has endured years of longing and sacrifice to wait for her. He’s fought his way through battles before and this is one he can’t afford to lose on any level.Neil is going in fighting to make Elaina see what he already knows. That she will forever be his Cherry Girl…

"Once I started this story, I couldn't put it down because Neil and Elaina had something very special between them that started a long time ago, when Elaina was a young girl and Neil was a young man. Back then, Neil was best friends with Elaina's older brother Ian and looked after Elaina somewhat like a little sister. But Elaina knew that Neil was the only man for her. When Neil and Elaina cross paths again at Blackstone Security International, the time has come for their second chance and to reconcile the past so they may have a future together. I adored Neil because he is not a player, and while he may not have fought hard enough for Elaina the first time, he isn't letting her get away a second time. There is something so inherently sweet and heartwarming about their love story, yet they are also very passionate and emotional, too. Elaina herself is a strong woman, she may still love Neil but she isn't going to let him persuade her into anything unless she's certain his intentions are sincere. The way Neil adores Elaina is really endearing and he has so much patience with her, he's already waited so many years for her. As much as they are each other's love and friends, they are also family. Definitely another wonderful book by Raine Miller."
