"AWESOMENESS! This book pulled me right into a roller coaster ride at full speed! Found myself connecting with the characters so much so I had a hard time putting the book down. I enjoyed all of it except the many references to God and prayer which I thought was overdone. Those are words that I don’t use in normal conversation, so I was not accustomed to hearing them. However, that is not to say that it influenced my rating on this book which I give 5 stars. The author follows the edict of starting a story as late as possible like a pro, dropping the reader into the world of Angel -- and the various government agencies, corporate traitors, and lethal overseas terrorists that have invaded her life. No dull setup, no endless chapters waiting for something to finally happen. With no overt moralizing, the book presents a clear ethical point of view, while never depriving the reader of action, characterization, and romance. The characters don’t have easy choices to make, with the narrative successfully ramping up the tension until the end.
